APPRAISAL SERVICES
Analogue Gallery is now offering clients insurance appraisals!
The gallery is happy to connect you with A.R. Photography Consulting Inc., a Toronto-based art consulting and photography appraisal firm. The organization was established in 2015 by director Alison Riley, a personal property appraiser specializing in photographs and Accredited Member with the Appraisers Association of America, and has provided clients across North America with appraisals and other art-related services.
Why do I need an appraisal and what does it cost?
Appraisals are formal reports that provide an opinion of value for a specific use, such as insurance, potential sales, estate planning, and income tax purposes, to name a few. Insurance appraisals are useful to individuals and insurance carriers to corroborate the appropriate monetary coverage for a particular work or an entire collection.
Appraisal estimates are based on hourly rates with insurance appraisals starting at $300 for a single piece. Estimates can vary depending on the variety of material in a given collection and purpose of the report.
